Motorcyclist seriously hurt in crash
A motorcyclist has suffered very serious head injuries in a collision with two lorries in Dorset. The accident happened shortly before 0700 BST on the A350 into Poole.

A man on a mobile phone called 999 to report that a motorcyclist had hit an articulated lorry just south of Sturminster Marshall.

The road is completely blocked between the Roundhouse roundabout and the A350 turnoff at Coombe Almer, about a mile away.

Police, ambulance and fire service personnel were quickly on the scene and the injured man, who is thought to be from the Bournemouth area, was taken to Poole General Hospital.

Police are turning round articulated lorries at the Roundhouse roundabout and advise motorists to avoid the area.

They are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
