Mugging victim offers reward
A Hull man who says he was mugged and then burgled by the same thief is offering a £2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his attacker.

Billy Leung-Lee, 53, was attacked when he arrived back at the block of flats where he lives in Cavil Place.

The first incident allegedly took place around 0001 BST on Monday, 25 August, when Mr Leung-Lee arrived at the block of flats and was persuaded to allow an unknown white man, aged around 20, through a communal door into the building.

Once inside the stranger is alleged to have kicked Mr Leung-Lee and taken two cassette players from him.

About an hour later the same man returned to the property, broke into Mr Leung-Lee's flat and attacked him with a wooden stake before fleeing with watches worth around £17,000 which were intended as presents for relatives in China.

Mr Leung-Lee says he is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest of the assailant because of the severity of the beating he was subjected to.
