Gang hijack man's car

Two youths are in custody after a gang hijacked a man's car and forced him to drive around Corby.

The incident happened at around 0120 BST on Tuesday.

The two youths and two girls got into the man's Fiat Punto and made him drive around the town for an hour.

The man managed to escape from the car and contact police.

Northamptonshire officers arrested two youths.

They are being questioned in connection with unlawful imprisonment of the man in his car.

Police say the driver is shaken but unhurt.
