Driver comes forward after crash
Todd Morgan with his mother Yvonne Jones in hospital
Todd Morgan's spleen has been removed
A driver involved in a collision in Worcestershire that left a schoolboy seriously injured has come forward.

Todd Morgan, 12, is in a stable condition in hospital after Sunday's accident on Rough Hill Drive in Redditch, which has left him needing medication for the rest of his life.

The youngster, a pupil at the town's Dingleside Middle School, had to have his spleen removed and suffered two fractures to his leg.

The driver of the red Peugeot 106 involved in the accident came forward on Wednesday night, a West Mercia Police spokeswoman said.

She said the man had not been arrested but that police inquiries into the accident were continuing.

Todd is expected to remain in the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for a number of weeks.
