A motorcyclist from Hertfordshire has died after his vehicle was involved in a collision with a tractor.
An Essex Police spokesman said the 26-year-old man from Sawbridgeworth died in the road accident which happened at about 1930 BST on Saturday at Newport, near Saffron Walden.
The spokesman said the man, who was driving a Triumph motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The tractor driver, who is 44-years-old, was not injured in the accident.
