Three in hospital after accident
Three girls have been taken to hospital with spinal injuries after their car rolled down an embankment in Wiltshire.

The accident happened on the A346 at Burbage Wharf in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The girls were passengers in the car, which was being driven by an 18-year-old man from Berkshire who escaped unhurt.

It is thought that the Volkswagon Golf came off the road, crashed through a brick wall and ended up lying on its roof on a railway track.

Line closed

No one was trapped inside and only one car is believed to have been involved.

Firecrews from Marlborough and Pewsey were called to the accident at 0330 BST.

The three casualties were treated at the scene by ambulance and then taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

The accident closed the railway line for around four hours.
