Bournemouth beach attracts over 100,000 people daily

A swimmer who drowned off one of the busiest beaches in the country after getting into difficulties in the sea has been named.
Mr Muzaer Majid, of Radcliffe Road, Northam, Southampton, died on Friday off Bournemouth beach, despite attempts by members of the public to save him.
They pulled the 30-year-old out of the water, where a lifeguard and paramedics were unable to revive him.
He was declared dead on arrival at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital at 2000 BST.
'Not suspicious'
A spokesman for Dorset police said: "On the evening of Friday at around 1900 BST a 30-year-old male got into difficulties in the sea off Bournemouth.
"He was brought ashore by members of the public. Lifeguard and paramedics attended and he was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
"A post-mortem examination has been undertaken and ascertained that the deceased died from drowning.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
The beach at Bournemouth is one of the busiest in the country, attracting upwards of 100,000 people daily during the summer.
