A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in Plymouth.
The incident happened between 2000 and 2100 on BST on Saturday at Haystone Place, near the city centre.
The man, who was believed to be local, had several stab wounds to his back, with the most serious injury being near his kidneys.
The man was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment. Police say his injuries where serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
