The body of a tourist who got into difficulties while swimming in a Highland loch has been found by police divers.
The 27-year-old, from Lithuania, has not yet been named.
The body was found on Sunday close to the area where he disappeared the previous afternoon.
Three of his friends tried to rescue the man after he got into difficulties at about 1300 BST on Saturday but could not reach him. They alerted police in Inverness an hour later.
A loch and shore search was mounted, involving Inverness Coastguard and the Stornoway Coastguard helicopter.
The coastguard team commandeered a local boat and used their own inflatable craft.
Remote area
The search was called off on Saturday night before resuming at first light the following day.
A diving team from Central Scotland Police, which joined the search on Sunday, found the man's body at 1320 BST.
A spokesperson for Northern Constabulary said: "A report on the circumstances will be submitted to the procurator fiscal at Inverness."
The incident took place on Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin in Glen Affric, a remote area near the village of Cannich.
A spokesman for Stornoway Coastguard issued a warning about the dangers of swimming in lochs and rivers because of strong undercurrents.
