Fishing boat sinks after collision
RAF helicopter
RAF crews were scrambled from Wattisham Airfield
A fishing boat has sunk after a collision 30 miles off the coast of Great Yarmouth.

One boat has sunk, but all six crew members were safely taken aboard the second vessel, Great Yarmouth Coastguard reported.

An RAF Search and Rescue helicopter from Wattisham Airfield in Suffolk took the crew members to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital at about 2000 BST.

The men are thought to be suffering from cuts and bruises.

The fishing boat collided with another vessel just before 1800 BST on Saturday, 30 nautical miles off the coast of Yarmouth.

The surviving vessel has damage above the water-line but after being checked by the Gorleston Lifeboat, has been given the all-clear to continue to the River Humber at about 2000 BST.
