Robbery victim sexually assaulted

Police have appealed for information following the sexual assault of a woman in her County Down home.

The incident happened during a robbery in Bangor in the early hours of Friday morning.

A married couple were wakened by two men armed with a knife.

The husband was tied up while his wife was taken downstairs where she was sexually assaulted by both men.

They then fled with a sum of money.

Detectives want anyone with any information about the attack to contact them.
