Dead woman is named

A woman who was found dead in Canvey Island has been named.

Chez Buchanan, who was also known as Tanya Scott, 25, was found by police shortly after 0400 BST on Tuesday at a bungalow in Sussex Close.

A post-mortem examination has shown she died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

An Essex Police spokesman further tests would need to be carried out to confirm this as the cause.

A 49-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail until November while a police inquiry continues.
