A man has appeared in Belfast Magistrates Court following a roof-top protest in Belfast city centre.
Alexander Traynor, 21, of Forthriver Drive, Belfast, appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court on Saturday.
He was charged with trespass at a butcher's shop in North Street with intent to steal.
He was also charged with damaging roof tiles at the same premises and assaulting a police constable.
Roads in the area were closed by the police during the incident on Friday morning.
The accused was remanded in custody until 13 August.
