A teenage motorcyclist from Salisbury has suffered serious injuries after a head-on crash on Friday.
The 17-year-old boy was airlifted to Swindon's Great Western Hospital where he underwent surgery for internal and leg injuries.
His condition is described as "serious".
It is believed that the motorbike collided head-on with a car on the A345 south of Pewsey just before 1800 BST.
The 53-year-old car driver from Marlborough was treated for shock, but otherwise unhurt.
The road was closed for over two hours and police are appealing for witnesses.
