The climber was descending without any ropes when he fell

A Cumbrian climber has been taken to hospital after falling 30ft down cliffs in Cornwall.
The 57-year-old suffered head and shoulder injuries in the accident near Land's End on Friday.
He was trying to navigate the rock face at Gwennap Head when he fell, landing between the sea and some rocks.
A search and rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose airlifted him to hospital.
Dave Jackson, from the Lands End Cliff Rescue Team, said the incident could have been fatal.
Mr Jackson said: "The gentleman was going down a sheer face without any equipment.
"He lost his balance, fell approximately 30ft and wedged himself between the rock and the cliff. He spent a little time in the water.
"If he had not been pulled out of the water and put onto a safe rock he definitely would have drowned."
