Police appeal after sex attack
Police investigating a sex attack on a woman in King's Lynn have appealled for witnesses to come forward.

The attack happened on Saturday, 9 August, but details have only just been released.

The woman was walking in Tennyson Avenue at about 2145 BST when the man grabbed her.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said the woman was pulled into an alleyway and sexually assaulted.

Cigarette smell

They have described her attacker as white with a tanned complexion, and in his late 20s or 30s.

He was about 5 ft 9 in tall, well built, had very short hair and spoke with an English accent.

He was wearing a tight fitting light T-shirt, a woolly hat set back on his head and smelled of cigarettes.

Detectives are anxious to hear from anyone who may have seen him or were in Tennyson Avenue at the time of the attack.
