Police offer cash reward
Police tape
A white car, possibly a Vauxhall Cavalier, was involved in the incident
Detectives in Hull are offering a cash reward for information over the alleged attempted murder of an Iraqi man in the city.

The 31-year-old Iraqi was hit by a vehicle as he walked along Freetown Way with a friend in the early hours of Saturday, 12 July.

Police say they know there were people in the area at the time the man was hit, but no-one has yet contacted them with information about who was responsible.

Officers are now offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution.

The two Iraqi men were on the pavement when a white car mounted the kerb and struck one of them, who suffered severe injuries.

A 29-year-old was arrested on suspicion of wounding in connection with the incident, and has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
