Man held over shooting released
Ken Harvey
Mr Harvey died on 20 August, two days after he was shot in his car
A 19-year-old man who was being questioned in connection with the fatal shooting of an East Sussex businessman has been released by police.

The man, from London, was arrested by Sussex Police on Tuesday morning over the death of Dale Kenneth Harvey on 18 August.

Police said he was still being questioned at Hastings Police Station on Wednesday morning but was freed without charge in the course of the afternoon.

Officers have also been searching for evidence at three un-named sites in London.

Mr Harvey, who was known as Ken, was shot as he sat in his car queuing in traffic at Cripps Corner, north of Hastings, travelling to work at 0605 BST on 18 August.

Police think he was shot by someone on a motorbike, who may have been hired by someone else to carry out the shooting.

Mr Harvey who lived in the nearby village of Broad Oak with his family, died two days later in hospital.
