New sightings of missing girl
Missing teenager Liliana Brooks
Lilly has not been seen since 3 July
Police searching for a teenager they fear may have been forced into prostitution say there have been up to 50 possible sightings of her.

Liliana Brooks, 13, left her home in Dale Close, Parbold, Lancashire, on 3 July wearing her school uniform.

Liliana, known as Lilly, was seen in Manchester's Arndale shopping centre the day after and there have been a number of reported sightings of her in the city since.

Detective Inspector Chris Wilde, of Lancashire Police, said officers were following up every lead.

He said: "The majority are still in the Manchester area.

Possible witnesses

"They are in the city centre, near the law courts, and in the Arndale centre, where there's been a couple of possible sightings.

"We've got to follow up every one but, by the time people have supposedly seen Lilly, rung in and then police officers from Greater Manchester Police or ourselves have got over there, some considerable time has gone past.

"It's very hard to identify the exact period on the CCTV you've got to look at and also identify other witnesses who might also have seen her."

There has also been a possible sighting of Lilly at Manchester Airport, where a young girl was ejected from a plane to Rhodes because she was scared of flying.

She was also reportedly seen in the company of two Asian men a few days after she disappeared.

The last contact Lilly had with her parents was when she spoke to her father, at about 1500 BST on 3 July, telling him she was outside their house.
