Police want to trace a group of bikers who may hold information about a crash in which a motorcyclist and his pillion passenger died.
The accident, which involved the motorbike and three other vehicles, happened on the A22 near East Hoathly in East Sussex on Tuesday afternoon.
On Friday the two victims were named as 52-year-old Raymond Dalrymple, who was riding the Yamaha Thunder 1000cc and Lisa Clark, who was 35 years old.
Both of them came from the same address in East Grinstead.
Leg injuries
Police want to speak to a group of about four motorcyclists seen in the area at the time of the accident.
Sergeant Phil Clarke said: "I am asking these motorcyclists to come forward in case they have any information about what happened.
"It is not clear if Mr Dalrymple had been riding with their group, or if the fact they were in the area was simply a coincidence."
A spokesman for Sussex Police had said of the accident: "It was the most horrendous crash we have seen in a long time."
A 26-year-old woman car driver suffered serious leg injuries and had to be freed from her vehicle by firefighters.
A 53-year-old man from Hailsham who was driving a Ford Escort was slightly hurt and the driver of a Ford Transit Tipper was uninjured.
