Woman hauled from grain silo
A woman has been pulled to safety after falling into a grain silo at a farm in Kent.

Firefighters were called to the farm in Benenden Road, Golford, near Cranbrook, just after 0800 BST on Friday.

Crews from Cranbrook and Tenterden went to the scene together with an ambulance.

When the crews arrived they found the woman 40ft down inside a partly full grain silo.

She was apparently scared to move in case she was dragged down.

By using harness equipment, the firefighters were able to free the woman and help her climb the gantry ladder.

A fire brigade spokeswoman said the woman suffered only shock and minor injuries.
