Prowler scare for Cumbrian woman
A woman suffered facial injuries after she confronted two prowlers near her Cumbrian home.

The incident happened at 0230 BSTon Thursday outside a house in Keld Road, Carlisle.

The men then ran off across gardens towards Moorhouse Road.

One of the men is described as 25, 5ft 10ins, of medium build, with short dark hair, clean shaven, and had a tattoo of a portcullis on the right side of his neck.

He had long-sleeved hooded black top and black trousers.

The 51-year-old woman suffered facial injuries in the incident and she was treated by paramedics.
