A GP has been charged with molesting patients, Greater Manchester Police have revealed.
Dr Venkataswamy Nammalwar of Middleton View, Middleton, was charged on Tuesday with three counts of indecent assault.
The charges are in relation to allegations made by two of his female patients.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between June 2000 and March 2001.
The assaults are said to have happened at his surgery in Alkrington in Middleton.
Dr Nammalwar is due to appear before magistrates in Rochdale on Thursday afternoon.
