A ten-year-old boy and his mother have been threatened with a knife during a robbery at a petrol station in County Antrim.
Two masked men demanded money at the Glen Service Station on the Ballyclare Road in Newtownabbey on Thursday night.
Edmund Burns said his wife, who was working in the shop, was badly shaken by the experience.
"Two masked men entered the petrol station. They jumped over the counter to rob the place and they held a knife to my wife's throat," he said.
"They took the child who was standing beside my wife into the storeroom and threatened him with a crowbar.
"They said they would harm the child unless my wife handed the money over."
