A man was arrested at a house in Manchester after a seven-hour stand-off with police.
The 33-year-old man had refused to leave the house on Bradney Close, Blackley, and threatened to take his own life.
Police were called at about 1100 BST on Thursday, after reports a man had entered the house and was armed with a knife.
Negotiators spoke to the man over seven hours, before he was arrested just before 2100 BST.
He was taken to North Manchester General Hospital with a punctured lung caused by a stab injury.
