Health chiefs in Shropshire have issued fresh warnings about the dangers of children developing skin cancer.
They are concerned at consistent increases in the number of cases of the cancer amongst Shropshire youngsters.
Nearly 4,000 children from primary and secondary schools across the county took part in a survey about sun protection.
Almost a third of those questioned said they had suffered sunburn four or more times last year.
Although most said they wore some sun cream fewer than half wore a sun hat.
The Shropshire County Primary Care Trust said skin cancer cases have been rising consistently for 20 years and it is warning that children should be better protected to reduce the risks.
