Teenager charged over boy's rape

A teenage boy has been charged with raping a five-year-old boy.

The unnamed teenager, from a village near Newbury, Berkshire, allegedly attacked the child in April.

He was arrested and questioned by Thames Valley Police who later charged him with one count of rape.

The suspect will appear before Newbury Magistrates Court on 29 September.

It is expected the case will then be referred to Reading Crown Court.
