Court acquits Kashmir separatist
An anti-terrorism court in the Indian capital, Delhi, has acquitted a leading Kashmiri separatist leader, Yasin Malik, of charges that he received funds from Pakistan.

The special judge, SN Dhingra, ruled that no case could be made out against Mr Malik.

Yasin Malik is the head of the separatist Kashmiri group, the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF).

He was charged more than 10 years ago under an anti-terrorist law that has now been replaced with a more stringent one.
