The couple are concerned the maggots may affect their children

A family have expressed their disgust after discovering their home, built on the site of a former abattoir, was infested with
maggots.
Tony and Emma Elms and their two children moved into the newly-built house at Bishop Sutton, near Bristol, in November 2002.
The couple say they are concerned the maggots may affect
their children's health.
Landlords, the Guinness Housing Trust, called in Rentokil on Wednesday to deal with
the problem and are awaiting a written report.
Mr Elms, 38, said the house was
"disgusting".
'Written report'
"When you bang the carpet in the lounge all these maggots just appear from
underneath," he told the Bristol Evening Post newspaper.
"We think they've come in from outside, but they're everywhere.
A spokesperson for the Guinness Housing Trust confirmed the house was built on
a former abattoir, and said a surveyor from Rentokil inspected the property.
"We are now waiting for the full written report, then we will talk things
over with the family," the spokesperson said.
