Glamour model Jordan has been arrested after a scuffle in a nightclub, it has been revealed.

The Page 3 celebrity was involved in an alleged incident at The Bambu Bar, in Birmingham's Chinatown.

West Midlands Police said a 25-year-old woman from Sussex had been arrested after voluntarily attending Sutton Coldfield police station.

"She has been released on police bail pending further inquiries," a police statement said.

Jordan denies any allegation
Dave Read, Jordan's manager
Jordan had gone to the bar with friends last month after competing in a jelly wrestling match, the Daily Mirror reported.

One onlooker said a woman tripped and fell on her, it said.

Manager Dave Read, who witnessed the incident, said: "Jordan denies any allegation, but I have nothing to add at this stage."

Jordan, whose real name is Katie Price, is regarded as an icon of the British pin-up scene.

Her glamorous lifestyle, involving celebrity partners such as footballer Dwight Yorke and former Eastenders star Dean Gaffney, has been dogged by misfortune.

After her disabled son Harvey was born the model was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, but she has since been given the all-clear.

And more recently her affair with Pop Idol Gareth Gates was soured after he denied having anything to do with her.
