Labour Party Conference
We are live at the Labour Party Conference in Bournemouth for what promises to be the most difficult gathering of Tony Blair's leadership.

The conference takes place in the shadow of the rows over Iraq and the Hutton Inquiry.

We will be looking at the Government's attempts to regain its momentum by focusing on the domestic agenda.

That is easier said than done, with a big row expected over the flagship policies of foundation hospitals and top-up fees for students.

Jeremy will be asking the Education Secretary Charles Clarke about all that and a potential big idea for the next manifesto, childcare for all pre-school children.

We will also be hearing your reaction to our item last week about the growing pensioner rebellion over the council tax and, as usual, there is our MP quiz.

This week it is a Lord in the Commons. Lord Thurso was one of the hereditary peers who lost his place in the House of Lords and then won a seat in the House of Commons.

The Politics Show with Jeremy Vine, on BBC One on Sundays at Noon.
