United Nations
The world's leaders were lining up at the UN in New York to have their say on the future of the organisation, and the future of Iraq. Our correspondent Tom Carver reported on the contributions from George Bush, and Kofi Annan, and he spoke to the head of the Iraqi Governing Council, Ahmad Chalabi.
The EU's external affairs Commissioner joined us to give us the reaction of the Europeans.
University admissions
Now, take two 'A' level students... one has four 'A's at 'A' Level and one has three. Who gets the university place? Not as easy as you might think... we looked at the ideas coming out of the government's task-force investigating whether the university admissions system should be changed.
Hutton Inquiry
Lord Hutton heard from the Prime Minister's Official Spokesmen, Godric Smith and Tom Kelly. Mr Kelly denied there was a government campaign to belittle, demean or slur the weapons expert, Dr. David Kelly. He apologised again for his own description of the scientist, as a Walter Mitty character. Liz Mackean and Mark Urban were at the Royal Courts of Justice and reported on the day's events.
Prefabs
And Prefabs are making a comeback... but where have they been? David Sillito reported on the recent re-emergence of these most versatile houses, from their ignominious decline at the end of the 1960s.
