A young woman suffered facial injuries when she was attacked and robbed in broad daylight in a multi-storey car park in Cornwall.
The attack took place at Westgate Street in Launceston and the 17-year-old had her credit cards stolen.
The woman described her attacker as male, and said he was wearing a dark blue, hooded top and baggy black jeans.
Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman, Sergeant Alan Mobbs, said it was a shocking attack and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
"The physical injuries were not great, but this could leave her suffering from great trauma.
"You would not expect to be attacked in broad daylight in a public car park.
"There must have been a lot of people in the car park at the time, and it is also surrounded by lots of houses and flats."
