Man faces child porn charges

A man has appeared before magistrates charged with the possession of nearly 500,000 indecent images of children.

Andrew Tatton, 33, from Shivean Gate in Moulton near Spalding, Lincolnshire, is charged with 50 offences relating to indecent pictures of children.

Mr Tatton spoke only to confirm his name and address at a court hearing on Tuesday in Spalding Magistrates .

The charges include the making of indecent images of children, and possession of indecent images with a view to distribution.

Mr Tatton was bailed to appear before Lincoln Crown Court on 21 October.
