Glamour model Jordan was arrested after she was accused of assaulting a woman in a Birmingham nightclub, it emerged on Thursday.

The mother-of-one is alleged to have been involved in an incident last month at Bambu, in the city's Chinese quarter.

A national newspaper has reported that Jordan, who is from Brighton, had been enjoying a night out with nine friends on 5 July after competing in a jelly wrestling match at the National Exhibition Centre.

A statement from West Midlands Police said: "A woman aged 25 from Sussex voluntarily attended Sutton Coldfield police station and was arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with an alleged incident at a Birmingham nightclub."

The model's manager Dave Read, who witnessed the incident, said: "Jordan denies any allegations, but I have nothing to add at this stage."
