"Young people like to see people of their own age. It can get a bit boring if you are a child and you just see adults all the time."
The posters produced for the campaign include 11 bullet points in yellow letters against a green background.
It encourages children to let parents know where they are, to walk in groups and to say no to strangers.
The posters also features a message from Fiona Ann and a photograph of her with a police car.
They will be put up in shops and public places in Dover town centre.
