Rivals to free fishermen
Pakistan and India say they have agreed to release about 450 fishermen jailed in each other's countries.

Officials said the men were expected to leave for their own countries by the end of August when their boats are repaired.

The Indian and Pakistani navies regularly stop fishing boats that have intruded into their territorial waters.

A BBC correspondent in the region says that efforts to improve relations between the two neighbours have led to the authorities agreeing to release a larger number of fishermen than usual.
