Police step-up school patrol
A man who tried to entice two children at a Middlesbrough school is being hunted by police.

The 11-year-olds were approached in the corner of Nunthorpe School's playing field last week, prompting police to step-up patrols of the area.

The youngsters were playing on the afternoon of 15 September when the man approached them from behind the school perimeter fence.

They quickly ran back to the school where they told their teacher about the incident.

Cleveland Police said the man was described as being of Asian or dark-skin European appearance, aged in his mid 20s and between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 9ins tall.

He had a goatee beard.
