School closed after ceiling collapse
No-one was injured by the collapse
A school in Leicester has been closed indefinitely after parts of the ceiling collapsed.

It happened after heavy rain fell on the temporary roof at Kestrels' Field Primary in Hamilton on Monday afternoon.

Five separate areas of ceiling have been damaged by rainwater.

There were no injuries, but electrical problems mean lessons can not be taught at the site.

It is the second time in a month that a school in Leicester has had a ceiling fall.

Caldecote Primary School, in Braunstone, suffered a ceiling collapse on 11 September, causing minor injuries to four students.
