Diabetic man goes missing

Jerry Ricketts has not been seen for over a week

Concern is growing for a Northampton man who has been missing for just over a week.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said Jerry Ricketts, 53, from Briar Hill, has not been seen since 28 July.

The spokesman said Mr Ricketts is a keen cyclist and is often seen cycling along the canal ways.

The police are concerned as he has recently been diagnosed a diabetic.

Police described him as 5 ft 2 in tall with grey hair and wearing silver-rimmed glasses.

He rides a yellow Raleigh Max mountain bicycle.
