Girl rescued form water
Safety is being reviewed at a campsite in Leicestershire where a young girl had to be rescued from a lake.

The six-year-old, whose name has not been released, was pulled from the lake at Bosworth Water Park and then resuscitated.

She was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital by air ambulance.

Her condition's described as critical but stable.

The manager of water sports at the lake, Nigel Smith, said a small area of the water is cordoned off for paddling but swimming is not allowed.

Lifeguards also patrol the lake telling people not to swim.

He said safety would be looked at but expected little more could be done.
