Four men robbed a building society in Leiston, Suffolk, on Monday afternoon.
The men entered the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society in Leiston High Street at 1320 BST and demanded cash.
Three of the men jumped over the counter, while the fourth waited by the door.
The men took an undisclosed amount of money before making off on foot towards Sizewell Road.
The men appeared to be unarmed and no-one was hurt, though staff were left shaken by the incident.
Suffolk Police say the men are described as black, with three of them only being 5ft 5ins tall.
All wore hooded tops and purple rubber gloves.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the men in the area to contact them.
Officers would also like to hear from the occupants of a silver car, seen going past the building society from the Sizewell Road direction at the time of the robbery.
