Boy shot in head with airgun
A four-year-old boy has been shot in the back of the head with what is believed to have been an airgun in Northamptonshire.

It happened at 1620 BST on Saturday during a church family event being held on a sports field off Station Road in Long Buckby.

The boy was taken to Northampton General Hospital where the pellet was removed from his head. He was later discharged.

Northamptonshire Police say they are treating the incident "very seriously" and are asking any witnesses to contact them.
