Man dies in garden car crash
A man has died after he lost control of his BMW and collided with another vehicle before ending up in a front garden.

The accident happened at about 1320 BST on Monday as the middle-aged man was driving his car along the Leighton Buzzard road in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Officers say the blue BMW veered into the oncoming carriageway and collided with a Citroen Saxo.

It then hit a fence of a house in Picotts End Road and came to a stop in the front garden.

Hertfordshire Police say it is not known why the man lost control of his car.

The man was taken to West Hertfordshire Hospital where he died a short while later.

Police say the female driver of the Saxo was unhurt.

They are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
