Fourth sex attack in town
The e-fit
An e-fit of a man police believe could be responsible for the attacks
A sex attacker who has preyed on three women in Weston-super-Mare, is thought to have struck for a fourth time.

The latest attack happened at 0330 BST on Sunday and involved a 17-year-old teenager.

She told police she was walking home along Locking Road with a friend in the early hours of Sunday.

She parted company with her friend and continued into Earlham Grove towards her home nearby.

The teenager told police she heard footsteps behind her and was then attacked by the man who pushed her against a parked car and subjected her to a serious sex attack.

A police spokesman said the description she provided was similar to the description of a man wanted in connection with three previous attacks on the nearby Bournville Estate.

He is described as a white man, about six ft tall, and aged about 20 with blonde or bleached hair, a prominent pointed nose and a pierced or shaved eyebrow.

Around 1,000 personal alarms were handed out to women in the Somerset town last weekend following the previous attacks.

On Thursday, 18 September an 18-year-old was indecently assaulted, and a 22-year-old was punched in the face on the previous day.

On Monday, 15 September, a 42-year-old was approached from behind by a man on a mountain bike who sexually assaulted her.
