Teenager missing for a week
Samantha Whatling and Dermot Carrick
Police want Samantha to contact her family as soon as possible
A teenage girl who has been missing from her home for over a week may be with a man twice her age.

Police believe 16-year-old Samantha Whatling may be staying with 31-year-old Dermot Carrick.

Samantha left her home in Thetford on 30 July and has not been in contact with her family since.

Norfolk Police think she may be staying in Lowestoft with Mr Carrick, who is also known as Dermot Jones.

Although the teenager is thought to have left her home freely, officers are keen for her to contact her family.

Police believe the pair may possibly be planning to head to Ireland.
