Thieves armed with a shotgun and an axe escaped with an undisclosed amount of money after attacking a post office in Sheffield.
The robbery took place at the Southey Avenue premises in Gleadless when the post master and a customer were forced to lie on the floor.
The masked thieves used the axe to smash down a door and forced the post master to open the safe.
The two men escaped in a red Vauxhall car driven by another masked man.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place on Saturday, to contact them.
