Three hurt in crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after three men were injured when a car rolled down an embankment and burst into flames.

The men managed to get out of the Honda Accord before it set on fire after the accident on Huddersfield Road in Delph, Greater Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday.

Greater Manchester Police say the driver lost control on a bend near the Saddleworth Hotel, and the car rolled down an embankment before hitting trees.

A 27-year-old man was treated for a broken arm and cuts and a 28-year-old man was treated for bruising and burns to his arm.

The third man, a 29-year-old, suffered a fractured neck and back, and cuts.

All three are in a stable condition in hospital.

Police are urging anyone who saw the accident, which happened at about 0130 BST, to contact the Oldham traffic unit.
