Going to the dogs
Wimbledon Dog Race track
Mustn't grumble? No - go on
Was life in Britain really sweeter 20 or 30 years ago? In a new series starting on Monday, Breakfast investigates whether this country really is going to the dogs.

It's your chance to have a good old-fashioned moan about whatever you choose - from gridlock in our cities to the rudeness of people you meet in the street.

When Breakfast sent its reporter Jules Botfield to Wimbledon dogs stadium on a Saturday evening, she found people had plenty to grumble about.

Their pet hates included lying politicians, low pay in London, the standard of service in shops - and public transport.

  • We'll set the ball rolling on Monday August 18 - by asking: why do British people seem to resent giving decent service in shops and restaurants?

We reckon there's probably plenty more grumbles you could add to the list - so please let us know - and we'll give your views a good airing.

  • What do you hate about life in Britain today - and were things really better 30 years ago? E-mail us now. And if you're happy to air your grievances on camera, don't forget to include your daytime phone number so we can contact you
