Hunt continues for missing man
Vincent Derrick with his wife Vicky and son Louis
Mr Derrick's family say his disappearance was out of character
More than 150 people helped search for a missing man from Leicestershire who vanished while on a night out in Manchester.

Vincent Derrick, who is 28 and married with a two-year-old son has not been seen since 30 August.

Police have been making enquiries into his disappearance and have also searched the River Mersey.

His mother, Vonny, who lives in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, was joined in her search by friends, family and his colleagues from Manchester Airport at the weekend.

They handed out flyers in the Cheadle area asking people for information about Mr Derrick, who had moved to Partington, Greater Manchester from Castle Donington.

He was last seen making a call from his mobile phone as he got out of a taxi.

Police are still trying to trace the cab driver who may have information on where Mr Derrick was heading.

The group also searched fields and hedgerows in the area for any trace of him but they failed to come up with any clues.
